Get to know me
Hi, I’m Amber—and I’m here to help you create a wedding day that feels like home.
I’m an elopement and intimate wedding photographer based in Maine, and my work is all about holding space for what matters most: connection, presence, and meaning. Whether you’re hiking a mountain trail, exchanging vows by the ocean, or celebrating with your closest people in a quiet clearing in the woods, I’ll help you craft and capture a day that reflects you—your pace, your values, your love.
I bring deep intention to every part of the process, from thoughtful planning support to gentle guidance throughout your day. I’ve spent years learning how to read energy, hold calm in emotional moments, and meet each couple exactly where they are. My background in psychology and the Air Force taught me how to stay grounded under pressure—so you can relax into the experience, knowing someone steady and supportive is in your corner. And as a queer parent of twins, I understand the beauty and chaos of real life. I welcome and celebrate every kind of love, every kind of family.
At the heart of it all, I believe your wedding day should feel like you. Slow when you need slow. Joyful and unscripted when the moment calls for it. Honest, real, and filled with the kind of beauty and love that only an intimate ceremony can bring.
A few fun facts (because connection matters!)
I live in Gray, Maine with my wife, twin daughters (now in pre-K!), a dog, and a very independent cat.
My ultimate dream is to have a homestead where we can grow food, raise our kids and a lot of animals, and live as a part of the land.
My degree is in psychology which has helped me foster a great understanding and empathy for others
I served in the Air Force for 6 years and can remain calm in any situation. You can trust that I’ll be a steadying and grounding presence throughout your day :)
Nature is my happy place! My favorite days are spent outdoors—hiking, camping, or wandering with no set plan.
Coffee and donuts are my love language, but I’ll never say no to a good cup of tea.
I became a photographer because I believe deeply in people, in love, and in remembering how it all felt.
my values
Presence over performance – Your day isn’t a production. It’s a living, breathing experience.
Every kind of love belongs – LGBTQ+ affirming, family-inclusive, and always judgment-free.
Nature is the best backdrop – Maine’s mountains, forests, and coastline are full of magic—I’ll help you find the perfect spot.
Planning with intention – I’m here to guide you, not just show up with a camera. Your experience matters.
Your story, your way – Whether it’s just the two of you or you’re bringing a handful of guests, your celebration should reflect your truth.
If you’re looking for someone who brings heart, steadiness, and intention to your wedding day—I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

More on the natural, true-toned side. I edit more true to skin tone to make sure we can see all the beautiful natural colors you perfectly planned for your wedding day. Some words that I would use to describe are candid, fun, natural, romantic, and playful.

Yes, a second photographer is available to all of my couples as an option. I prefer to photograph most of my weddings on my own, as I enjoy capturing weddings from my point of view. Though, if you have a guest list of more than 100 or a lot of travel on your day, I highly recommend choosing to have a second shooter.

You will receive your photographs in a digital gallery online of high resolution images. You also will have a print release so you can take your photos anywhere you’d like.
