A coastal Inn elopement in searsport, Maine

When Abby and Andrew reached out about eloping at a beautiful, coastal inn in Searsport, Maine, I knew it would be absolutely gorgeous. I was thrilled they chose me to capture their elopement with immediate family. Fall on the Maine coast is a stunning view and back drop for an elopement.

The Captain Nickels Inn has a beautifully landscaped expansive lawn leading to a rocky ocean coastline. Abby and Andrew had their intimate ceremony on the lawn overlooking the beautiful ocean. The ceremony was officiated by Corinne Carey - CC Ceremonies who did an absolutely amazing job illustrating Abby and Andrew’s love for each other and included some beautiful stories from their relationship. Abby and Andrew’s immediate family including their parents and siblings were there to witness and be part of such a beautiful elopement on the Maine coast.

After the ceremony, Abby and Andrew walked down to the water’s edge to take in the view. Then, we started taking some family portraits with their immediate family. Abby and Andrew’s parents were present as well as their siblings and sibling’s partners. We took a variety of portraits with family and took some of just the couples that were present to make sure they all had some beautiful photos from the day.

It was time for portraits of the newlyweds to document their stunning Maine coastal elopement. We adventured onto the rocks to take some beautiful golden hour photos in the magical warm sunlight. Abby and Andrew’s portraits were absolutely dreamy, and the rocky coast on the ocean was the most beautiful backdrop for their portraits.

After their portraits on the coast, Abby and Andrew with all of their family walked back to the inn to celebrate. They shared champagne on the deck of the inn while the sun was setting, and Abby’s brother shared a toast that was simple and sweet. After this, they all went to get dinner together at the restaurant next to the inn.
